Getting river cruise options built around your budget takes three steps and costs nothing. Here is exactly what happens after you press the button.

Step 1: Tell Us Your Number and Your Wish List

Use the quote form to share four things: your budget, your travel dates, the river you are interested in and the cabin you would be happy with. Be as specific or as loose as you like. “Rhine or Danube, late September, French balcony, about this much each including flights” is perfect. So is “something in Europe next spring for our anniversary — this is our total.”

Tell us what is fixed and what is flexible. If the dates cannot move but the river can, or the budget is firm but you would happily sail a week earlier, that shapes the search more than anything else.

Step 2: Our Cruise Advisors Search and Shortlist

Our cruise advisors at Mister Cruise compare river lines, ships, cabin categories and sailing dates against your budget. They look at the total cost, not just the headline fare: what is included, what is extra, how you get to the ship and whether a current promotion changes the picture.

They then cut the list down to the handful of options that genuinely fit, rather than sending every sailing on the river.

Step 3: You Compare, Ask Questions and Decide

You receive your options with a clear explanation of each one. Typically that includes a “best fit” choice, a choice that saves money by trading something you said mattered less, and — if it is close — one that stretches slightly above your number because it is noticeably better value. You are free to ask questions, change the brief or simply say no thank you.

When you are ready to book, our cruise advisors handle the reservation, deposit, final payment and any changes. If a better promotion appears on your sailing after you book, ask them to check whether it can be applied — policies vary by line.

Tips for a Better Brief

  • Say whether your budget is per person or total, and whether it includes flights.
  • Mention any must-haves: a balcony, a specific city, a single cabin, step-free access.
  • Mention any deal-breakers too: very early starts, long coach transfers, large ships.
  • If you have sailed a river cruise before, tell us which line and what you liked or did not.
  • Give a window rather than a date if you can — even a week of flexibility helps.

What We Will Never Do

We will not pass your details to cruise lines for marketing, push you towards a line that does not fit, or pad your options with things you did not ask for. Your budget is treated as a ceiling unless you tell us otherwise.
